Christmas Tree

                                                   We have a family tradition where we go to a movie and then cut down a tree. We saw "A Christmas Carol" in 3-D. It was very good. If you haven't seen it you should try. Then we went to a new tree farm ,since our old farm closed down. The new farm was in Clark's Hill, SC. It was nice but they cut the tree for you and our kids like to take turns cutting it down. Otherwise it was a nice setup. Anyway this is the tree we picked.

It only took 4 tries to get this picture with all the kids looking at the camera and not touching each other.  A new record for my kids. LOL

Funny

This has been making the rounds- I thought it was too funny, so I wanted to share.

"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take my fake man down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down.


First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

 Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was only one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up into my yard."
